Cookie Policy

Last updated: 9 March 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on the Ulysses32 marketing website (ulysses32.com) and within the Ulysses32 Software.

1. The Ulysses32 Software (Self-Hosted)

The self-hosted Ulysses32 application does not set any cookies controlled by Quantum Touch. Any cookies or local storage used by the application are generated locally on your installation for functional purposes (e.g. session management, UI preferences) and never transmit data to us.

Licence-Related Local Storage

The Software may use browser local storage or server-side files to store your licence key and licence validation status locally on your installation. This data remains entirely on your machine and is used solely to verify that your licence is active, in accordance with our Terms of Service (single-user licence terms). No licence data is shared with third parties.

2. This Marketing Website

Our marketing website currently uses minimal to no cookies. Here is a breakdown:

Essential Cookies

These are strictly necessary for the website to function. They include cookies that may be set by our hosting infrastructure for basic security and performance (e.g. CDN, DDoS protection). You cannot opt out of essential cookies as they are required for the website to operate.

Analytics Cookies

We do not currently use any analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts on this website. If we introduce privacy-respecting analytics in the future (such as Plausible or similar), we will update this policy and provide appropriate notice and consent mechanisms.

Advertising Cookies

We do not use any advertising or remarketing cookies. We do not participate in ad networks or use tracking pixels.

Third-Party Cookies

If you interact with embedded content (such as YouTube videos, if any), those third-party services may set their own cookies. These are governed by the respective third party’s cookie and privacy policies.

3. Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are set
  • Delete individual or all cookies
  • Block cookies from specific or all sites
  • Set preferences for cookie consent

Please note that blocking essential cookies may affect website functionality.

4. GDPR and ePrivacy Compliance

In accordance with the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, we will obtain your consent before setting any non-essential cookies. As we currently use no non-essential cookies, no consent banner is required.

5. Changes to This Policy

If we begin using analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and implement appropriate consent mechanisms before doing so.
