Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with Ulysses32. This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for purchases of the Software from Quantum Touch Limited.

1. 7-Day Refund Period

We offer a 7-day discretionary refund period from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with the Software within the first 7 days, you may request a refund by contacting us.

Refunds within this period are granted at our discretion. We aim to be fair and reasonable — if the Software genuinely doesn’t meet your needs, we want to make it right.

2. After 7 Days

After the 7-day period, all sales are final. As Ulysses32 is a digital product with immediate access upon purchase, we are unable to offer refunds beyond this period.

3. EU/EEA Consumer Rights

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, for digital content supplied on a non-tangible medium, you may lose this right if:

  • You expressly consent to the supply of digital content before the end of the withdrawal period.
  • You acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been accessed.

During the purchase process, you will be asked to provide this consent. By proceeding with the download/access, you acknowledge that the withdrawal period is waived in accordance with Article 16(m) of the Directive.

Notwithstanding the above, we still offer our 7-day discretionary refund period as a gesture of good faith, even where the statutory withdrawal right has been waived.

4. What We Need for a Refund

To request a refund, please email us with:

  • Your order number or the email used at purchase
  • The date of purchase
  • A brief explanation of why you’re requesting a refund

5. How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method (Stripe). Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your payment provider.

6. Upon Refund — Licence Termination & IP Obligations

If a refund is granted:

  • Your licence to use Ulysses32 is immediately and permanently terminated.
  • Your licence key is permanently deactivated and cannot be reactivated.
  • You must cease all use of the Software immediately.
  • You must delete and destroy all copies of the Software from all devices, servers, backups, and storage media in your possession or control.
  • You must not retain any copies, extracts, screenshots of code, or any other materials derived from the Software.
  • Upon request, you must certify in writing that you have complied with these obligations.

A refund does not grant any licence, right, or permission to retain, use, copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from any portion of the Software or its source code. All intellectual property protections set out in our Terms of Service (Sections 4, 5, and 6) survive termination and continue to apply after a refund.

7. Refund Abuse

We reserve the right to deny refund requests where we reasonably believe the refund is being sought in bad faith, including but not limited to:

  • Requesting a refund after copying, extracting, or redistributing the Software or any part of its source code.
  • Repeated purchase-and-refund cycles.
  • Evidence that the Software was shared with, or used by, third parties before the refund request.

If we determine that a refund was obtained fraudulently or that the Software was retained or used after a refund, we reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies, including recovery of the refunded amount and damages for intellectual property infringement.

8. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks incur fees and administrative overhead that affect small businesses. We are committed to resolving issues directly and fairly.

A chargeback does not alter or extinguish your obligations under our Terms of Service, including the obligation to delete all copies of the Software and the ongoing intellectual property protections.
